I’ve been in wedding media for over 21 year, including publishing two wedding magazines and I spent 11 years with The Knot, most of them as Vice President. It was at The Know where I first met Scott Messina. What I’ve come to learn, over the many years I’ve now known Scott, is that he’s a man of integrity. He loves his family and his work, although anyone who loves what he does as much as Scott does can hardly call it work. He is passionate about people and music. He understands that music has a profound effect on people, as it has on him. “Scott also understands the wedding industry, having spent the better part of his life deep in the middle of it. He’s equally comfortable working with a bride as with the management of a major theme park (where I’ve seen him work many times). He’s at ease with his talent, allowing his ego to take a back-seat to the success of the event. If I had to use one word to describe Scott Messina and Messina Productions, Inc., that word would be “passion.” It’s contagious. If you’ve already met Scott then you know what I mean. If your first introduction to him is, “Wedding Perfection,” consider yourself lucky, and prepare to be impressed… I know I am.
